Serviceberries

Serviceberries (Amelanchier) bushes are covered with beautiful white flowers in the spring and produce a tasty small edible berry in the early fall.  The tasty fruit is good for eating fresh and for jellies.  They are also good Xeriscape plants that require minimal watering once established.  Hardy zones 2-7.
