Ghost pepper produces wrinkled, tapered fruit about 2–3 inches long that ripens to red. The flavor is fruity and slightly smoky, followed by extreme heat that can reach around 1,000,000 Scoville heat units or more. It is one of the world's best-known superhot peppers and should be handled with care. INDETERMINATE.
