Bright golden-yellow semi-double flowers cover the arching shrub in a spectacular late-spring display and have a light fragrance. Often called the "Yellow Rose of Texas," it traveled west with 19th-century settlers and became a familiar historic rose around old homesteads in the Intermountain West.
