Productive plants bear flavorful red gooseberries suitable for fresh eating and preserves. Hinnomäki selections are especially valued for cold hardiness and good resistance to powdery mildew. - Gooseberries do well in our area. The bushes grow 3-5 feet tall and wide. They are self-fertile and produce a good crop of berries every year.
