Pink-to-purple berries have a mild, sweet flavor and are excellent for fresh eating, pies, and preserves. 'Pixwell' is vigorous, productive, and has fewer thorns than many gooseberries. - Gooseberries do well in our area. The bushes grow 3-5 feet tall and wide. They are self-fertile and produce a good crop of berries every year.
