Apple mint is a vigorous perennial mint known for its soft, fuzzy leaves and mild fruity fragrance. Compared with peppermint or spearmint, its scent is gentler and often described as a combination of mint and green apple, which is where the common name comes from. Like most mints, it spreads through underground rhizomes and can travel surprisingly far from the original planting. Mints are great in teas, lemonade, jellies, syrups, sacues desserts & more!
