This houseplant does more than just looking cool. Thick, fleshy green leaves form a compact rosette and contain the familiar clear aloe gel. Aloe vera prefers bright light and dry soil between waterings.
It is speculated to be native to southeast asia. As such, it is used as a houseplant in our area.
Aloe vera can flower as a houseplant, but it is very uncommon. It requires very bright light to flower.
